This functionality makes it easy for businesses to take advantage of the scalability, convenience and cost-effectiveness of the Azure cloud platform for data protection, disaster recovery and test/dev workloads. The new public availability of Cohesity DataPlatform Cloud Edition (CE) in the Azure Marketplace demonstrates the complete portability of Cohesity’s distributed, scale-out platform.

Enterprises are increasingly using the benefits of cloud infrastructure for secondary storage use cases that traditionally ran on-premises. However, companies have struggled to easily transfer data between on-premises infrastructure and the cloud and to provide a transparent and continuous bridge across these infrastructures. Cohesity and Microsoft worked in close technical collaboration to deliver end-to-end scalability, security and performance for joint customers.
