It’s been a minute since we got back from San Francisco. I hope you’re rested because it’s time to work putting everything we learned into practice. The RSA Conference showcased the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and solutions. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or just starting in the field, there’s always something new to learn from the top experts and thought leaders who gather at this event.
Cohesity at RSAC
It was a great event for Cohesity. You couldn’t go anywhere around the Moscone Center without seeing a bus or an Uber wrapped in our logo.
The conference attracts a diverse crowd from all corners of the cybersecurity industry, including professionals, researchers, vendors, and policymakers. The level of knowledge condensed into a single location ensured the conversations across the expo would be amazing. The expo hall at the RSA Conference is like a playground for cybersecurity enthusiasts. The size of the conference also means that when we talk about securing the world’s data, we’re not just focusing on one company or one country—we’re talking about protecting information on a global scale. Even though our booth was among hundreds of exhibitors showcasing their latest products and services our message was resonating because even with all theother booths, ours was packed.
In particular, folks were interested in knowing more about our innovations with Cohesity Gaia and what we’re doing next to help solve cybersecurity challenges. And yes, of course, what’s next in our plan to combine with Veritas‘ data protection business.
Partner ecosystem highlights
We co-presented with our Data Security Alliance partners outside our booth and in front of cameras—because we all win when we work together. Below is a list of just some of the highlights.
- We proudly showcased our integration with Wiz at their booth. As Wiz’s inaugural partner in the cyber resilience category, we highlighted how this novel integration can help our joint customers safeguard their critical data during cyberattacks.
- We discussed how to fight back against data exfiltration and double extortion with Zscaler. If you want more information or want to see a demo, check out this blog post.
- Interested in what our CISO had to say in a discussion with Cisco about strengthening cyber resilience? Watch the video.
- Want to quickly identify and respond to attacks from a single, unified console? Then, you’ll want to learn more about the benefits of combining data security insights from Cohesity and CrowdStrike Falcon® LogScale’s next-generation SIEM capabilities.
Data is the lifeblood of innovation, powering everything from artificial intelligence and machine learning to medical research and financial services. By working with our DSA partners, we can help customers secure the world’s data and create a safe, trustworthy environment for innovation to thrive. This will unlock new possibilities and drive progress in every sector imaginable.
Oh, there was some news, too: FedRAMP®
In addition to the main conference sessions and expo hall, there are always fun events and activities scheduled throughout the week. This year was no different, and Cohesity is always up for a good time. And it’s safe to say a good time was had with our friends at BigID, Cisco, and Tenable.
We did get some real work done, announcing Cohesity Cloud Services for Government has earned FedRAMP® Moderate Authorization. This authorization is a significant milestone that underscores Cohesity’s commitment to the public sector.
The bottom line is that no matter how long you’ve been in the industry, the RSA Conference offers a unique blend of education, networking, innovation, and excitement, making it a must-attend event. But there’s more to it than flashy booths and great parties. Ultimately, it’s about creating a better, safer, and more equitable future for future generations. By working together to secure the world’s data, we can build a more resilient and trustworthy digital infrastructure that benefits everyone. So now it’s time to look ahead at the next chapter of cybersecurity, take everything we’ve learned, and get to work.
