In my last blog , I talked about deploying Cohesity DataPlatform Cloud Edition on Microsoft Azure. Today we tackle Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Continuing this conversation is important because so many enterprises have been waiting to make the leap to a modern data center in order to gain control of their data in an increasingly hybrid-cloud world. To that I say: Good news! Cohesity’s DataPlatform CE is now available for environments running either Microsoft Azure or AWS.
With Cohesity’s DataPlatform CE, enterprises can transform a private cloud into a hybrid cloud (on-premises and public cloud) infrastructure. Enterprises can then leverage Cohesity’s hybrid data fabric in order to efficiently and securely manage secondary storage and data sprawl.
In the demonstration below, I dig into how Cohesity’s DataPlatform CE on AWS works. I discuss how the procedures for deploying AWS are very similar to Microsoft Azure. Of course, there are a few exceptions to the deployment similarities (regarding some of the unique constructs and properties that apply to the AWS portal and services), but I covered them all in the demonstration below.
