Configuring Backup Policies to Protect Cohesity File Services

I blogged recently about simplifying data protection, and consolidating files and objects on a single platform. In that blog, I included the first of three video demos about how Cohesity consolidates file & object workloads.

In the first video, we showed how easy it is to utilize the Cohesity DataPlatform UI to configure ViewBoxes (Storage Domains) and Views for File Services in a few simple steps.

In today’s demo on file services, we show you how to easily configure backup policies to protect Cohesity file services, and also perform self-service tasks such as restoring Windows files or SMB shares to any point in time.

In our next demo blog about consolidating file & object workloads, we’ll show you how to easily set up ViewBox (Storage Domain) using Windows SMB share — and more. Stay tuned!
