Cohesity is #28 on the Forbes Cloud 100

This is the fifth consecutive year we’ve been recognized on the Cloud 100.

For the past nine years, Forbes has compiled the definitive ranking of the world’s top private cloud computing companies—the Cloud 100. We’re proud to be positioned again strongly and in good company, ranking #28 on this year’s list.

This is the fifth consecutive year we’ve been recognized on the Cloud 100. This year’s 17-spot jump to #28 is a testament to our innovative approach to data protection, relentless focus on our customers, and innovation around delivering new insights with generative AI.

In the past year, we’ve strengthened our data protection platform to help our customers protect their data from threats and recover faster from cyber incidents than anyone in the industry. And, with the introduction of Cohesity Gaia earlier this year, we’re the only company helping organizations take the richness of their historical data and put it to use in an impactful way. Not only that, we announced a business combination with Veritas’ enterprise data protection business, which will make Cohesity the largest data protection vendor in the world, double our R&D resources, and significantly expand our customer base worldwide.

The Cloud 100 reviews submissions from hundreds of cloud startups and private companies each year and ranks companies based on four factors: market leadership (35%), estimated valuation (30%), operating metrics (20%), and people and culture (15%). For market leadership, the Cloud 100 enlists the help of a judging panel of public cloud company CEOs who assist in evaluating and ranking their private company peers.

We couldn’t be happier to be recognized by Forbes alongside innovative companies like OpenAI, Anthropic, Databricks, and our valued partners Wiz, Netskope, and Tanium. As we look to the future, we’re excited to continue our focus on delighting our customers and tripling down on breakthrough technologies to keep them cyber resilient and help them gain new insights into their business.
