Backing up high-transactional databases such as SQL Server presents challenges, including potential impacts on application performance, maintaining data consistency, and minimizing recovery time objectives (RTOs) for large datasets. The CVD showcases best practices for protecting these high-transactional databases crucial for cyber and business resilience while highlighting additional functionalities like copy data management to support various use cases.
