New Innovations from Cohesity and AWS
At re:Invent, Cohesity is unveiling a new early access program to Cohesity Turing, our comprehensive, patent-pending collection of AI capabilities and technologies that are integrated into our cloud data platform. Cohesity Turing will integrate with Amazon Bedrock, a new service that makes foundation models accessible via an API to build and scale generative AI applications. Customers will be able to use these new AI capabilities to drive more efficient operations, garner greater insight into security risks, and derive more value from their data. Cohesity will also showcase upcoming capabilities for protecting critical AWS workloads with Cohesity DataProtect delivered as a service, including enhanced support for Amazon S3, and Amazon RDS. With enhanced support for backup of AWS RDS, customers can now more easily fulfill database portability, database migration, and cloud DR for business continuity requirements. With enhanced support for AWS S3, the number of objects per S3 bucket that can be backed up will substantially increase in scale to the order of 30 million objects. These new capabilities complement Cohesity’s existing data protection solution for Amazon EC2. With a single management plane for on-premises, software as a service (SaaS), and cloud-native workloads, Cohesity customers can streamline data security and management. In addition, Cohesity has joined forces with AWS and VMware to bolster data resilience for VMware Cloud on AWS with Cohesity’s DataProtect delivered as a service. This solution’s flexible pricing, industry-leading storage efficiency, and scalability provide VMware Cloud on AWS workloads with comprehensive protection and faster recovery at lower costs. With integration across cloud and on-prem environments, this solution delivers a proven, integrated data protection solution for VMware Cloud on AWS.
