Enterprise Tech Veteran Jonathan Chadwick Joins Cohesity’s Board

Former VMware Executive Brings Broad Background in Strategy, M&A, and Operational and Financial Management to Hyperconverged Secondary Software Leader

San Jose, Calif. – Dec. 18, 2018 – Cohesity, the leader of hyperconverged secondary storage, today announced that Jonathan Chadwick, former VMware executive and longtime independent board member and advisor to some of the most renowned enterprise technology brands, has joined Cohesity’s board of directors. As a board member, Chadwick will help drive Cohesity’s strategy as the company continues to disrupt the $60 billion secondary data and apps market, empowering customers globally to store, protect, manage, and extract insights from their data while solving challenges tied to mass data fragmentation.

During that time, he has held leadership roles at some of the most recognized technology companies, including McAfee, Skype, and Cisco.  Chadwick also held a variety of leadership positions at VMware, serving as executive vice president, chief operating officer, and chief financial officer. Chadwick brings a unique perspective on how to help companies accelerate growth from his experience as a board member of established technology companies including Cognizant, F5, and ServiceNow as well as at high-growth companies including Elastic, Tanium and Zoom.
