On November 30, 2020, Amazon Web Services (AWS) will kick off re:Invent 2020, the world’s premier cloud event. This year’s re:Invent is not only global and virtual, but it is also free. There are 450 sessions scheduled and 70 sponsors and exhibitors, and 250,000 people are expected for the three-week (15 days) event. As we have been for the past few years, Cohesity will be there, celebrating our collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to create Data Management as a Service that simplifies the way to back up, secure, govern, and analyze their data. Theresa is also moderating a customer panel session in “Don’t Lose to Data Silos and Get the Most out of Your Data.” She’ll join panelists from Novartis, Kyriba, and CloudShape on December 4 from 12–1 p.m. PST to discuss how they defeated data silos by consolidating data backups, disaster recovery, archiving, file services and other data sources with a modern approach such as data management as a service (DMaaS).
