Cohesity and NVIDIA have been on quite a run lately.
The two organizations recently announced a collaboration to integrate NVIDIA AI Enterprise with Cohesity Gaia, our AI product. NVIDIA also recently invested in Cohesity as part of the company’s latest financing round.

As Jensen mentioned during his recent NVIDIA GTC keynote, Cohesity secures and protects massive amounts of customer data. Our initial collaboration announcement hinted at how we’re using NVIDIA’s latest AI innovations into our products. We wanted to share a few more details about the significance of this integration.
Cohesity engineers are developing new capabilities for our customers using NVIDIA NIM, a set of easy-to-use microservices designed to accelerate the deployment of generative AI models. NVIDIA NIM abstracts away some of the complexity associated with building AI-based applications. Thanks to NVIDIA NIM, our development teams can release new code to our enterprise users faster. To use a popular phrase, we can now leave more of the “undifferentiated heavy lifting” to NVIDIA and focus on our own code.
These prebuilt microservices are already having a big impact on Cohesity—and, more importantly, our customers. Here are a few of the benefits we’ve experienced recently:
- Our customers are seeing faster releases of new capabilities for Cohesity Gaia, thanks to the prebuilt, cloud-native microservices that are continuously maintained by NVIDIA.
- Our engineers are able to move faster with industry-standard APIs and tools tailored for enterprise environments.
- We’re able to use enterprise-grade software with dedicated feature branches, rigorous validation processes, and support, including direct access to NVIDIA AI experts and defined service-level agreements. This is a huge benefit for our development teams since the world of AI is moving so quickly.
It’s hard to find experienced AI talent, but these new microservices from NVIDIA are making AI more accessible to the remarkable talent we already have here at Cohesity. This, in turn, makes it easier for our customers to accelerate their AI strategy with Cohesity Data Cloud.

Using NIMs for more complex AI operations, such as document re-ranking or even private LLM inferencing, simplifies and unifies our codebase across on-prem and cloud. The flexible nature of NIMs allows us to provide bespoke model customizations rapidly across all deployment offerings.
