Just a quick post to highlight a few takeaways from the recent (2nd annual) TechUNPLUGGED event held in London.
First, a huge thanks to Enrico and Arjan for putting the show together and for reaching out to include us earlier this year. Definitely something we want to be a part of going forward!
Personally, I noticed it was one of the first times outside of a major tier-1 trade show that I saw a mixing of Analysts, Press, VARs, Vendors, and customers all in the same room together. This is actually harder to pull of than you’d imagine. The discussion ranged from Openstack to Networking to Data Protection to Secondary Storage to Object Storage to the impressions of Chris Mellor presenting his winners/losers in the technology space, and how lucky he is to write and talk about the storage industry with so much going on. I couldn’t agree more!
The vendor lineup represented included Veeam, HGST, Caringo, Violin, and of course, Cohesity.
