James Blake is Cohesity’s Global Head of Cyber Resiliency. In this role, he draws on his nearly three decades of operational experience as a CISO, building Security Operations Centres and leading incident response to provide thought leadership and enablement around cyber resiliency best practices to internal resources and customers, as well as working with our Data Security Alliance partners to create a security ecosystem that delivers innovation. James worked as both the Global Director of Cyber Transformation and Director of Cyber Risk at JPMorgan Chase. He was the CISO of Mimecast from its inception to its IPO. He spent nearly a decade as the Managing Principle leading a consulting practice for HP Enterprise that built, operated and then transferred over 90 end-to-end security operations capabilities for some of the world’s largest organizations and provided consulting for over 200 more. James and his team were called in to provide response capabilities for several high-profile incidents, including ransomware and wiper attacks such as the 2012 Shamoon attack on Saudi Aramco. He is also the co-founder of the second-largest information security conference in the UK.

John Anthony Smith is founder and CSO of Conversant Group and its family of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity services businesses. He is the founder of six technology companies and, over a 30-year career, has overseen the secure infrastructure design, build, and/or management for over 400 organizations. He is currently serving as vCIO and trusted advisor to multiple firms.

A passionate expert and advocate for cybersecurity nationally and globally who began his IT career at age 14, John Anthony is a sought-after thought leader, with dozens of publications and speaking engagements. In 2022, he led the design and implementation of the International Legal Technology Association’s (ILTA’s) first annual cybersecurity benchmarking survey.

John Anthony studied Computer Science at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and holds a degree in Organizational Management from Covenant College, Lookout Mountain, Georgia.

With over 20 years of professional expertise in various disciplines, Jonathan Bell currently serves as a Technical Director in the Advanced Technical Solutions Organization (ATSO). Jonathan has demonstrated his proficiency in enterprise infrastructure, security, enterprise storage, networking, virtualization, and application performance. His extensive knowledge and experience have enabled him to develop innovative technical solutions for complex business challenges.

Jake has spent the last 20+ years in technology with the last 15 in storage systems and data management.
