Maner is an owner and investor in several Federal Services and Solutions businesses. Prior to 2016, he was the Managing Partner of IBM’s U.S. Federal Service Business. Prior to being acquired by IBM in March of 2010, Maner was the Chief Executive Officer National Interest Security Company (NISC), a 1,000 employee DC Capital backed Analytics, Hosting, Information Management/Services and Technology Management Consulting Company serving the intelligence, homeland security, DoD, federal medical and energy marketplaces. Maner led the company through multiple acquisitions, significant organic growth, and consolidation ultimately through the sale of the company to IBM. Maner also twice served in government, he was appointed by President George W. Bush in January 2004 as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in addition to serving the Press and Personal Offices for President George H.W. Bush from 1991-1993.
